Set in Kyoto in 1968. Tensions arise when members of a Japanese high school karate group insult two girls from a neighbouring school for Korean students. Led by Ang-Son, the boyfriend of one of the girls, a gang from the Korean school seeks revenge. Reprimanded by their teacher, two of the Japanese boys, Kosuke and Norio, are sent to the Korean school with a peace offering.
