Sakutaro is at loss when his fiancee Ritsuko suddenly leaves him. He follows her to his hometown in Shikoku, but is flooded with memories of his childhood sweetheart, Aki, whom he lost to leukaemia many years ago. Haunted by his recollections, he ‘revisits’ the past through audio diaries Aki and Sakutaro once shared. Now, as an adult, Sakutaro must first find closure with Aki before he runs after Ritsuko.
